Principles of personal data processing

What data, how and for how long do we use?

Provision of services
To provide you the services, to deliver the goods and documents related to your order, to allow you to pay for the goods, and to contact you in relation of the service if relevant, we shall ask you for the following information: We shall retain your information for three years from the time you last used Opadii's services, for the purpose of enforcing yours and ours contractual rights and obligations (e.g return of goods; enforcement of warranty; recall of goods; enabling enforcement of claims), as well as to answer your questions regarding the provision of the service.

Due to accounting requirements we keep the accounting records for seven years from the end of the financial year in which you paid to us for the goods.

Irrespective of the foregoing, we will delete the data immediately if any basis and purpose for future storage ceases to exist.

Web browsing statistics and your preferences
We strive to continually improve our websites and make them even more user-friendly so that our services are as relevant as possible to the needs and preferences of our customers. To this end, we want to know how often our site is visited, what device and browser is used, from which regions visitors come from, and what information on our site is of most interest to our site visitors. We use such data on the basis of legitimate interest and retain it for an indefinite period. We use such statistical non-personalized data to analyze trends amongst our website visitors.

On the basis of legitimate interest, we also store information on your activities and preferences on our websites (your language preference, font size, and other screen preferences) so that you do not have to re-insert them. We also store information about your purchases, unpaid shopping carts, downloads, and the answers you have provided to our questions, to direct to you the services and information you may be most interested in. With your consent, we will collect and store your first and last name and contact information for direct marketing purposes. We will delete this information within three years of your consent or your last use of our services unless you renew your consent at our request in the meantime. When we send you information about Opadii offers, campaigns, events and other activities, we use the information we collect about your preferences to direct to you the services and information that you may be most interested in.

Who has access to the data?

We have taken organizational and technical measures to protect your information from any unauthorized use, including unauthorized alteration, destruction, disclosure and theft.

Within the company, only the person who needs it to perform your service duties will have access to your data. For example, statistics about website visitors can be accessed by staff responsible for analyzing and developing the website.

We will not share your information with third parties unless: We have entered into a personal data processing agreements with third parties who process your personal data in order to provide you with services, to ensure the security, confidentiality, and processing of your data for legitimate purposes and basis. Such third parties include marketing and IT partners, as well as accounting and delivery service providers based in the European Union, or who otherwise safeguard that the personal data requirements applicable in European Union are adhered to.
